JourneyX
I’ve worked with National Heritage Board and HAN to create a AR app called JourneyX to go along with an event called “Our Clementi Home, Clementi Launch Festival”.
JourneyX is a web-based digital companion designed to enhance community engagement and foster a greater appreciation of the Clementi neighbourhood. With an interactive community trail interweaved with stories of the people, places and heritage, it offers an immersive and educational experience through compelling narratives and Augmented Reality, presented by Ngee Ann Polytechnic students.The app is designed for users of all ages and is accessible to individuals with visual impairments, including those with colour blindness.
I took on the roles as a Lead Documentor ( for the development team ), Lead UI/UX Researcher and Co-Developer.
Echoes of Clementi
The Echoes of Clementi mural in Clementi MRT depicts Clementi’s iconic landmarks and communities, from its past, to its present. It was created as part of the SMRT Comic Connect initiative, and takes viewers on a journey from Clementi’s humble beginnings as a kampung to the flourishing town it is today. It depicts Clementi’s vibrant flora and fauna, as well as its bustling and lively community.
Tour-rific
A VR tourism experience based in Marina Bay Sands (MBS) with a functional database. Users can see 4 locations in MBS as 360 videos and can access information in their surroundings to learn more about their location. They can also play minigames specific to their area, and gain puzzle pieces upon minigame completed. The puzzle is completed at the end of the game, and their time taken is recorded and displayed on a leaderboard.
In this group project, I coded the game and did all the game design features in Unity. I also managed the database for the game.
