This project involved creating a game where the player, whose spaceship crashes on Mars, must retrieve a sacred crystal to save Earth. The player navigates the environment, collects items, battles enemies, and solves puzzles to complete the mission.
The project was a individual work, where the game successfully integrates player controls, item collection, enemy combat, and puzzle-solving elements, creating an engaging and challenging experience. The use of Unity and Visual Studio Code ensured efficient development and smooth gameplay.
With the guidance from lecturers during trouble shoots, the game was done well and smoothly. Special thanks to Mr. CJ for helping us all out during this project.
For Year 3 capstone project, we were honoured to be able to work with industry partners, EN Dining for Monster Curry. For this project we have came up with various ideas and ways to engage during the dining experience, while waiting for their food. The ideas combine various activities such as AR Game, Monster Chef AR, letting diners to play an AR cooking game while waiting for meal, Instagram filters to boost engagement and to show on social media, An AR menu to find out the real life size of the dishes and lastly, Shout Doragoosh for diners to shout as loudly as they can for Dorago (MC Mascot) to cook curry for them.
This VR project on Singapore tourism has flourished into a transformative experience, while showcasing Singapore’s culture and heritage. Crafted an immersive journey that transports user from the present to the past to understand and visualise how Singapore is like in the past before shaping into the present city-state all within the virtual realm.
